“Yet every time I pressed the button, I ended up close to death, because to photograph is to stop time. I want to tell you something, listen closely: photography is murder.”

“There’s a reason I said I’d be happy alone. It wasn’t because I thought I’d be happy alone. It was because I thought if I loved someone and then it fell apart, I might not make it. It’s easier to be alone, because what if you learn that you need love and you don’t have it? What if you like it and lean on it? What if you shape your life around it and then it falls apart? Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It’s like dying. The only difference is death ends. This? It could go on forever”
—Meredith Grey; Grey’s Anatomy Season 7 Episode 22 (submitted by i-get-around)
“No one should ever ask themselves that: Why am I unhappy? The question carries within it the virus that will destroy everything. If we ask that question, it means we want to find out what makes us happy. If what makes us happy is different from what we have now, then we must either change once and for all or stay as we are, feeling even more unhappy.”
—The Zahir, Paulo Coelho (via isabellamari)
“Life is about trusting your feelings, taking chances, finding happiness, learning from the past, and realizing people change.”

CHANCE or CHOICE? When you meet the right person to love, at the right place, at the right time, that’s a chance. When you meet someone your attracted to, that’s a chance too. Being caught that there are many people out there who are more attractive, smarter, richer than your mate just the same, that’s a choice. Attraction comes to us by chance. But true love is truly a choice.
Fate brings people together, but its still up to you to make it happen. We meet someone by chance, but loving and staying with that someone is a choice..
